During our unit of study on Ecology,
Biology students learn about the various ecosystems of the world. Particular
attention is given to the types of animals and plants that live in the
different climates of the world and how those organisms interact with
each other. Students are placed into groups and each group chooses a
particular biome to research for their project. Each group develops
a PowerPoint presentation that details the information about that biome,
its animals and plants. Each project is then presented to the class.
